Dustin holds a business degree from Missouri State University and began his career at O’Reilly Automotive, a Fortune 500 company, before transitioning into the construction industry. Over the next 12 years, he helped scale a startup from fewer than 10 employees to over 100, serving as Executive Vice President of Operations while opening new territories and building high-performing teams. He’s known for a hands-on, no-nonsense leadership style and a strong connection with field teams, driving performance through accountability and problem-solving. Today, he serves as Chief Operating Officer and co-owner of Velocity Construction, where he applies his experience in both corporate systems and startup scaling, to drive growth and operational excellence. He maintains an open-door approach and stays closely connected to day-to-day operations to ensure alignment across every level of the business.
